 Senior Pastor Rev. Donald L. Luhring |
Pastor and his wife Faye have completed 25 years of ministry at St. John Lutheran Church in Defiance, Ohio. After serving as pastor at The Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Monticello, Indiana for 14 years, (and one year in Richmond, Virginia while doing graduate study) they have completed 40 years in pastoral ministry.

Associate Pastor Joshua Schmidt |
Josh is a 2010 graduate of Concordia Seminary, St. Louis. He and his wife, Kristin, have been married since July 2008. St. John is his first call and congregation.

Zech Teasdale |
Zech Teasdale is St John's youth intern. He is in his internship from Concordia Chicago. He is leading our youth for the 2010-11 school year. We welcome his enthusiam and love for the Lord. |
Nancy Schatz |
Nancy has worked in the church office for over 23 years. She has served faithfully and graciously and majors with weekly bulletins, monthly newsletters, and works with many volunteer receptionists and other office volunteers.

Rita Bergman |
Rita has served as Pastor's Secretary for three years. Her experience with computers, power point, business management and for contemporary worship has been an asset to the church office.In addition, she is the webmaster for the web page and Worship Technology Manager. |
DiAnn Wichman |
DiAnn has been a member of St. John Lutheran all her life. She works two days a week in the church office and volunteers many additional hours during the week. She oversees the accounting and payroll for the church and school. |
